Text Box: Rita works primarily in pastel, charcoal and one-of-a-kind monoprints. Her works show portraits and atmospheric figure studies with an obvious delight in the play of light on form and a strong communication of mood and nuance. Inspiration is found in the understated and a spirit of everyday grace present in daily life.  Rita invites us to look with a quiet eye at the joy and richness within our own personal experience.
